Can I use Jerome Prep courses for homeschool credit?

Yes, while Jerome Institute does not currently maintain records for students beyond their enrollment in Jerome Prep courses, students who complete a course, finish with a grade report, a portfolio of samples, and a teacher-assigned grade, which can be used for your own homeschool records.


Is Jerome Prep a school?

No, Jerome Prep is the wing of Jerome Institute dedicated to K-12 formation. Students enroll in individual courses that can be used for homeschool credit, recreation, or in conjunction with other educational programs.


Does Jerome Institute issue official transcripts for Jerome Prep courses?

No, we issue grade reports that include the verification of completion, the teacher-issued grade, and a portfolio of graded samples submitted by the student. We do partner with a school that offers official transcripts. Contact us for more information on this process.


Can I use an Education Freedom Account to pay for courses through Jerome Institute?

Yes, Jerome Institute is an approved vendor through EFA, meaning you can be reimbursed for courses you've purchased, or you can pay for courses directly through Class Wallet.


Is Jerome Institute approved for any other Education Accounts?

Not at this time. If you receive Education funds from States other than New Hampshire, reach out through the Contact page and we'll be happy to look into the verification and approval process for that fund.


Does Jerome Institute offer degrees for completed graduate study?

Not currently. We offer Biblical Studies certificates while we are actively pursuing accreditation and degree granting status.


Does Jerome Institute offer payment plans?

Yes, an automatic withdraw payment plan feature will soon be functional. In the meantime, a payment plan can be arranged by using the "Pay by Check" option at Checkout and then by using the Contact Form to request a payment plan. The same is true if paying with EFA funds. Choose the "Pay by EFA" option at Checkout and then use the Contact Form to arrange a payment schedule. In both cases, a deposit is necessary to reserve your course seats.
