Join the Jerome Institute for a three-day Scripture colloquium and retreat centered on one of the most profound chapters in the Gospel of John.
The raising of Lazarus is more than a miracle. It marks the turning point of John's Gospel, where hidden realities come to light, opposition to Jesus intensifies, and the mystery of life, death, and resurrection comes sharply into focus.
Together, we will spend the weekend immersed in John 11, exploring questions that have challenged Christians for centuries:
• Why does this sign lead many to believe, while prompting others to seek Jesus' death?
• What does the story reveal about desire, conflict, faith, and the human heart?
• What does it mean to hear Christ call us by name: "Come forth"?
Through lectures, discussion, prayer, and fellowship, participants will engage the biblical text carefully and deeply while enjoying the beauty of New Hampshire in autumn.
Whether you are a pastor, teacher, student, or simply someone longing to encounter Scripture more deeply, Lazarus, Come Forth offers an opportunity to enter more fully into the Word of God—and to hear its call with fresh ears.
