Having taught Latin and Greek professionally for over a decade, we have found that students thrive when they are able to engage class material as often as needed. To that end, each of our courses are comprised of live meetings (twice per week) and asynchronous components. A recorded lecture is provided each week along with online practices/answer keys, weekly "checks" to see how you are doing, and the two live meetings. This is much more support than you can get at a standard school, whether in-person or online. This also means that ambitious students can work ahead of the schedule and will not be bogged down by the pace of class. They are still welcome, however, to join the live meetings each week. On the other hand, students who join late or need some extra time to keep up with the pace of the class can work through the asynchronous materials on their own time and in a sequence that works best for them.
